Rumors and leaks are not new for Samsung and Apple devices. Recently Samsung Galaxy Alpha leaked and it looks like not mid-range, but it is also not a high-end smart phone.
Samsung is working on a newer line of flagship devices, might be this is the first phone in the series. Galaxy Alpha has a partially metal body. The images confirm earlier reports that the Galaxy Alpha will sport a 4.7-inch screen, maybe it will be a Super AMOLED 720p screen? And a metallic construction, though Samsung has opted to use aluminium on the sides while the front and back are still plastic and that rubbery that we’ve seen on the Galaxy S5 and the Galaxy Note 3.
According to source, the Galaxy Alpha has the same display as the Galaxy S III’s but we all know that the Galaxy S3 had a slightly bigger 4.8-inch display, a nano SIM slot, fingerprint scanner, and 32GB of internal storage with no external storage expandability. There will also be an LTE-A variant, and we’re guessing the LTE-A variant could be powered by Samsung’s recently announced Exynos ModAP processor, which brings support for 150 Mbps LTE-A speeds.
It may not be the powerful device, but the Samsung Galaxy Alpha will cover a very important niche market. It is well-built and includes some high-end features like that fingerprint scanner.
More news on this device should be showing up soon, so stay tuned with us. All these specifications are as per rumors so wait for the official announcement for detailed specs, price and availability.
